Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.

Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

Students of the longer bootcamps are prepared for entry-level, Junior web developer jobs. Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to bootcamp students. Nucamp also offers exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates.

This was a horrible decision that I made but now I have to complete because they have all my I totally regret this. The react course teaches you nothing at all there is no deep understanding of the core components I could not tell you anything or write a real world react app and I was one of the better students. There is no community at all. I thought this would help me connect and learn things I need but I do not see that at all. I see money spent. They need to focus on JavaScript a...

Robert, we're really sorry that you feel that way about the bootcamp. We'd like to address some of the issues you have identified. The Bootstrap version we teach is 4.5. We have purposefully decided to not teach Bootstrap 5 because it is almost identical to Bootstrap 4.5 but removes JQuery. We believe students should learn about JQuery since it is still used by millions of websites and companies, even though it is an old library. It's also the precursor to all modern JavaScript frameworks and helps understand them better.

We have also recently upgraded the React and React Native courses to the latest versions. I understand that you got frustrated by the challenges created by React Native EXPO, and the difficulties associated with running mobile device emulation and debugging on it. The community and the instructors helped you resolve those issues, which was really great to see.

Finally, we really appreciate the call-out to our very talented and supportive instructor community.

We wish you the best in finishing the bootcamp, and hope to see you get a job as a developer like many of our alumni have already done.

    Back End Development

Nucamp has been extremely resourceful and all of the instructors that I have encountered have been immensely knowledgeable and dedicated to assisting all students. You will have to put in a lot of your own time learning and teaching yourself but do not be afraid to reach out to peers on slack! I learned my lesson after being a little too shy and embarrassed when not being able to complete some portions and got stuck behind the first time around, but the community is always there to help ...

    Full Stack Development bootcamp

I enrolled in Nucamp because it had the program I was looking for (Full Stack developer bootcamp), it was part-time and reasonably priced.  Now that I am in the program, I appreciate the small class size, highly knowledgable instructors who teach live each week, and the course materials.  I highly recommend the bootcamp.

    Good value

I chose Nucamp because the price was way lower and the courses were shorter than any other bootcamp I could find that offers similar curricula AND because the reviews were pretty good. The only sort of negatives I could find in the reviews were that Nucamp is not the place for you if you aren't very driven, disciplined, or good at supplementing your education outside of class. I agree with this assessment.
A negative I have found is that it appears Nucamp may be an instructor factory ...

I would recommend anyone starting out on their developer journey to take this course. By the time you are done with this intro course, you have an understanding of what it entails to become a developer.
