TrueCoders is a full-stack software development Bootcamp that offers an intensive full-time 45-week schedule or a self-paced schedule. The full-time 45-week schedule is a live online course, while the self-paced version allows students the ability to take the course when it is convenient for them. The self-paced schedule is a great option for students who need to retain their full-time jobs but still want a career change. Students of either schedule have the ability to receive unlimited one-on-one support from instructors and career services.

TrueCoders offers 2 different courses: Full-Stack Software Engineering and Full-Stack Web Development. The software engineering course covers C#, .NET Core, the ASP.NET MVC framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, WebKit-based debuggers, and basic working knowledge of networking and file permissions. The web development course covers, Node.JS, Express.JS, React.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, hosting web applications using Heroku and GitHub pages, FlexBox design, and Webpack bundling. TrueCoders also specializes in source control and students will receive in-depth instruction on git CLI and GitHub in either class.

TrueCoders aims to provide new coders with the tools needed to find a position in the digital job market including marketable skills, career navigation, and a support community. TrueCoders is meant for career switchers and those with no prior programming experience who wish to enter the tech industry. The application process for both classes begins by scheduling an interview online. A member of their staff will soon follow up with a call.

Before graduation, TrueCoders prepares their students for the job market by improving their resumes, helping them create networking opportunities, and hosting practice interviews. TrueCoders also focuses on communication skills and teaches students how to leverage connections they may have in the tech industry (including fellow students). After graduation, the TrueCoders placement team works with graduates to make introductions, set up interviews, coaching before interviews sending out job applications.

They did not help me get a job

Compared to other bootcamps, the price is low. The daily access to mentors via Zoom is nice. The program is well structured and pretty much every lesson has associated videos that were made by TrueCoders if you want them. The videos themselves just seem to be recordings from previous workshops and classes, but they're still useful. Having said all that, I enrolled in this program because I was hoping for a fast track to a job. I completed a project while in the program, I have a TrueCode...

Hi Autif, I'm so glad we were able to speak and formulate a game plan going forward!
The job search process is overwhelming when done on your own, and that's why it's so important we meet regularly with our students until they're hired.
Each student will need to adjust their strategy depending on the results they're seeing.  If we send 300 applications and don't receive an interview, then something needs to be adjusted.  This could be anything from our resume, to what type of jobs we're applying for, or even how we're applying to jobs.  If we complete 15 interviews and don't receive an offer, then we need to find out what interview skills we need to work on, and attack them.  That could be coding skills, that could be soft skills - every student is different.
I want to stress this to any student or potential student reading this:  We are here for you until you're hired, and we do not recommend applying for jobs on your own. We need to meet regularly to work on your progress and adjust tactics when needed.

    Great people lots to learn

It's a lot harder than I anticipated and I don't necessarily believe that just anybody can learn to code or that you'll be 100% ready for a job in two months but nobody will be able to teach you the amount of information these people do in this short amount of time, nobody. They will also set you up beautifully on the career end and you will look like a professional coder by the end of class. The staff and teachers are all wonderful and willing to do what it takes to help you succeed in ...

    Zach’s TrueCoders Review

TrueCoders helped me actually find a place where I feel like I can thrive. From the teachers to the resources, it’s by far the best! I never thought I’d be able to learn coding due to having ADHD but the instructors are SUPER helpful and when I had to be rushed to the hospital, my entire class and all my teachers reached out to me to make sure I was okay. I couldn’t imagine anywhere else doing that. All the instructors are top notch and really funny too! 1000000/10 would recommend enroll...

    A great introduction to programming

True Coders has helped me understand coding and programming tremendously. I started off not knowing almost anything about the Tech industry, and now I feel a lot more confident in my coding skills. The way the instructors take their time and help you along every step of the way helps a lot. We did multiple projects that showcase your skills in C# as well as SQL and many other languages.

    Software Engineering bootcamp

Took the full time software engineering course. I found the material to be easy to digest and challenging throughout. There were definitely times where I was overwhelmed but that is to be expected from a bootcamp. The course material is all there and you definitely need to put in the extra time and work to be able to learn it. Teachers and assistants were always available as well as career services. Now time to land a job!

    Review for TrueCoders

TrueCoders is a great boot camp. At first glance, you look at the price and wonder why it is so much cheaper than most of the other boot camps. I had this same thought. It turns out that during Covid, they moved much of their business online and were able to cut down on overhead costs and they passed those savings along to the customers. The content is great, the instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable, and you can schedule as much one on one time after class as you would like. Th...

    The best Bootcamp!

Great school to learn from, not just coding, but vital information that ordinarily would require years of work experience. Nine weeks duration, yet very rich (with useful contents that are current in the field) program. I learned from the best, Cruz, Amoriss, Ben, Doyle, Jeremy, Crowe, John W, Denise, Tadiya, Mike, Seth and others too numerous to mention.

I almost gave up continuing with the Software engineering program, but was greatly inspired and pulled through within the shor...

You get what you put in

In my experience, I had Jeremy as my instructor and Seth as my TA, and I must say they consistently demonstrated a high level of expertise in their teaching methods. Roughly 90% of the time, they were operating at a senior level, and the remaining 10% they may have had some difficulty, but they were always eager to learn and improve.

I found the lab TAs, Denise and Tadiya, to be just as valuable in enhancing my learning experience, which made me feel that...
