    Disappointing Experience

I recently had an unfortunate encounter with Careerist Bootcamp, and I must say that my experience was extremely disappointing. I joined the program with high hopes and expectations of gaining valuable career skills and guidance, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a scam.

From the beginning, there were red flags that I should have recognized. The promises made during the recruitment process seemed too good to be true, and I should have been more cautious. The bootcamp claimed ...

    Misleading

This is an overpriced course which you can learn online on your own. Everything that is taught in this bootcamp is common sense. I titled this as “misleading” because the sales reps pitch things that are not even offered once you start the course (I.e., the automated JAS system). According to the sales reps JAS was supposed to apply for companies on my behalf, which is a major selling point, however, once you finish the course you notice that this isn’t true. The JAS system only gathers ...

Sales Engineering Training is a rip off

I enrolled in the Sales Engineering Program for $3,250 in January 2023. The positives- the teachers are seasoned Sales Engineers and the other students are very nice. The cons- you will not have enough technical skills to get hired as an SE after completing their program. Please don't let social media stars tell you you will be able to; they were hired during the pandemic. The market is full of new SE's trying to find jobs. Back to Careerist-  It is more like an intro SE course, but they...

    great courses

I recently completed the "Python QA Automation Engineer" course on Careerist, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the course material and the instruction. The course is designed for anyone with a basic knowledge of Python who wants to learn how to apply it to QA automation. The course is also very hands-on, which I found to be very helpful. Throughout the course, there are numerous exercises and assignments that help you apply what you've learned. Additionally, t...

    Pretty Good

I'll review this course in two parts:

    Part 1 - The Instructors/Mentors
The instructors are the best part of this course. Their backgrounds are different, and their ages vary, but the care they show is fantastic. They often stayed hours after the official class ended to answer questions; this is where most of the learning starts. Then there were the mentors, each of whom was fantastic. They helped with the tedious nature of building a resume & gave great feedback on how to i...

    Interesting, but can be better.

I felt like the lessons could have taught more. There was a solid amount of information, but manual QA has so many avenues that their current curriculum isn't enough. The instructors did a good job with their lesson plan. I feel like the mentors do the most. They're very helpful with the entire process.

    informative, relaxed, easy, fast

I'm very very happy with Careerist Bootcamp! My three friends who graduated from Careerist, all found jobs after they completed the program! As everyone recommended this bootcamp, I decided to give it a try even though I was not really interested in IT. In Careerist, everything is structured, comfortable, and easy to understand! In my case, I was studying while I was working, so combining a bootcamp with my job was extremely easy. The staff are friendly and provide excellent knowledge al...

    Great experience

I started Careerist to have a refresher in Software Manual Testing, but my main goal was Automation testing.
So far, my experience has been good. The instructors are knowledgeable and they make incredible efforts of answering all students questions and some even code on the fly, while still covering the material.
I've already complete  a internship with them (on the Manual part of the course), and now I'm starting another one, on the automated side.
    I'm keeping my fingers cross...

    Nice and Flexible

I have been to other boot camps and they were either too fast pace or too slow. I appreciate the flexibility that was given to us as I didn't have to drop everything to attend the classes and I could go at my own pace.

The instructors are very nice and will answer your questions and they genuinely feel like they want to help you learn.
