El bootcamp está bien estructurado, partiendo de lo más básico hasta el objetivo final, que es hacer uso de diferentes algoritmos de Machine Learning con grandes cantidades de datos, los cuales, se han tenido que obtener, limpiar, procesar y preparar para poder pasárselos al algoritmo.
En todas las clases se mandan ejercicios para afianzar los conocimientos adquiridos durante la clase, y así, ir construyendo tu base de conocimientos de una forma estable. Todo lo que necesites hacer al final, lo habrás dado en el camino.
En cuanto a los profesores, ha sido un placer. Muy buenas explicaciones y con ejercicios en directo. Si había algún problema con lo que se había dado (no se entendía del todo algo o te quedas atascado en algún ejercicio), siempre podías preguntar y te orientaban para resolver el ejercicio. Si era un fallo de comprensión en cuanto a la teoría, se preocupaban de explicártelo de forma que pudiesen entenderlo.
Es un bootcamp que merece la pena, tanto por el conocimiento que aprendes como por los profesores que lo imparten. Aun teniendo en cuenta todas las facilidades que ofrecen, hay que dedicarle tiempo y tener interés en aprender, y es algo que avisan desde el principio. Working for a tech startup without much exposure to either disciplines, I found both courses so incredibly helpful in learning more about the foundation and frameworks for each one. The Cybersecurity course added immediate value to my role at work and even my personal life. It had me do a lot of self reflection. The Machine Learning course was little more challenging, and there were many foreign topics that I never even knew existed. It made me really appreciate the hard work my colleagues do but also have a better understanding of the work they're presenting to our team.

I did a lot of researching when deciding which bootcamp to attend. I decided on this one because the languages and Stack aligned with my desired list of technologies I wanted to learn. However, I received so much more than I expected. My Instructors were, and have been very attentive to all of my questions and struggles. My career coach has guided me every step of the way through job search. She has always been available when I need to talk. The staff as a whole is nothing but attentive and supportive. And even though I have completed my training and career search, they are still there for me. As I am starting my new and first role as a software developer, my instructor is supporting me through my required learning. When they say they support you and give you every tool available to succeed, they mean it. I cannot say enough good things about them. I will also mention that I was a virtual student in a class of in-person students. The instructors made sure that I was included in all class interactions and exercises. I have made so many friends and connections through this experience. It has truly been life changing for me and my family.

I started with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and learned a lot about web development and feel definitely job-ready.
Things which can be improved:
Since it is a very personal experience and it very much depends on everyone's self, I still think that the BootCamp can be a bit more intense. Sometimes there was a bit too much free time between the classes. This time could have been used to dive into details or to teach additional technologies.
But nonetheless, I would definitely come for another BootCamp to Spiced as every Teacher is such a cool person!

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. My experience at the Grace Hopper Program changed my life in a myriad of ways. I think though, that besides teaching me their specific stack, GHP really taught me how to think like a programmer. Since graduating I've been able to teach myself so many new languages and technologies because of this experience. I chose the program because I'm a nonbinary student and wanted to go somewhere where my identity would be respected, and I absolutely felt that throughout my experience. My cohortmates, fellows, and instructors were so supportive and still are even now after I've graduated. The pair programming enabled me to learn to speak technically and work with others in this new environment, and the workshops are still useful for me to go through even now that I'm an employed software engineer. I cannot recommend the Grace Hopper Program enough for any woman or nonbinary person looking to get into the technical field.

I am so happy I discovered Technigo and this course put me in a place I see myself building my professional career and just becoming better and better within web development!
To start off, I really liked the format of the course and the positive vibes built around it. I liked how 'colorful and smiley' it was, it was important to me to get to a school that is not too numb, boring, traditional and 'old-school' as it's not for me. At the same time I feel like I learnt a looooot of serious and practical stuff with Technigo.
Some things I liked:
- course is clearly divided into weeks and sprints. Each week you work on one project which you can put to your portfolio. Each project focuses on one particular tech stuff but you're free to modify it as you wish. You have access to coaches via slack/stack overflow from Monday to Friday.
- professional set up. Access to the study platforms, useful links, being part of the community and having access to Slack.
- Technigo organises so many cool events for networking and just for having fun (last year they hosted Figma Config Stockholm party)
- Also, for students in Sweden, Technigo organises coffee meetings at different companies for networking. I think some of these events were online, so people from other locations could also join. That was really amazing to visit offices and talk with the members of the tech teams.
- Technigo offers a great Coaching Programme where we learn about LinkedIn, presentation techniques and how to get into the industry!
- Being in a small group with other classmates, working closely with them and independently. Having the classmates to support each other and of course to complain a little bit ;)
My study time at Technigo was from January to June 2023. In November 2023 I got an internship as a developer and now in January 2024 I got a full time job (different place than my internship) [so probably would have got it even without doing the internship].
As I was working full time (office job) during my bootcamp, it was quite challenging to be a perfect student. However, I decided that "it's better to be the worst one among the best ones, instead of not knowing anything". I felt like I needed to go back to the most of things after the Bootcamp. Which I did, and I now I feel confident about my skills within these topics. I also believe that topics that Technigo's bootcamp covers are definitely enough to get a job as a developer.
Just everyone applying should remember that even the best school will not guarantee you become a good coder. You have to code a lot on your own to achieve great results. But Technigo was a great way to start coding, get routines and learn about tools, and to get excited about coding. I think it was definitely worth the money, the time and even some stress I encountered during that time.
If I met myself in November 2022 (when I came across the bootcamp first) I would enrol myself again and maaaaybe just asked at my work place about possibility to work 85% instead of 100% ;) as that was really hardcore to work 40h and and then study 25h a week.
