I want to start by saying I never leave reviews. I am a special education teacher for a local Jr High. With my family growing I decided to try and take on this course for a career change. I want to start by saying I never leave reviews. I am a special education teacher for a local Jr High. With my family growing I decided to try and take on this course for a career change. Talking with the recruitment team and looking at the growth of this field I decided to take the chance and I was able to make it through. I was able to make it through with absolutely ZERO background knowledge in this field and while also still teaching full-time. This bootcamp has challenged me and my classmates in ways I never would've expected, but I've also learned things I never would've thought I would be able to learn. The instructor was very helpful throughout the course. He often said it's like drinking from a firehose and it couldn't have been more true. My favorite aspect of the bootcamp was collaborating for projects. Your peers can be a lifeline throughout the course. The pace was excruciatingly fast paced, but the assistance that this bootcamp offers was so incredible. The instructional team would always say you get out what you put into it and that is the best piece of advice I can say for any future student. Come to each class with the mentality that you are going to work as hard as you can so you can have this material stick with you throughout the class. Lastly, don't be afraid to collaborate with your peers. They are struggling the same way you are, so you can get through the struggle together and come out stronger on the other side.
