The best part of Udacity for me is the student community and slack channel. Through this channel, I made friends, study partners, project partners and most of all the help and support from fellow students helped me graduate. Information, tutorials, resources and technical support flow freely the slack which makes it the most valuable part of the Udacity program after the course videos.
I already have other Udacity courses lined up for me. I have already started recommending Udacity courses to my friends, relatives and blog readers who are interested in getting a career in the technology industry. Udacity rocks !!!
I got to know about this program from one of my friends who was very keen on participating in such programs. I got to know about this program from one of my friends who was very keen on participating in such programs. At first, I thought that I won’t even get a chance to be part of the preliminary round itself which was also done by selecting from the writeups on why we should have this scholarship offered by Google on Udacity. But since all my friends were applying I also applied for it but still I was thinking that it was meant for those who are good coders and developers. One day when I was just checking my mail, I saw one mail stating that I got selected for the Google India Challenge Scholarship: Front-End Web Dev - Udacity. And the most interesting part was that it was in the Promotion part in my mail which I have never checked before ever since I have created my mail, but I still don’t know what made me check that part and checking off which made me extremely happy and made my day because getting an opportunity in such a program which I was thinking was only meant for developers and not for beginners in programming like me. It was the 1st round which was a 3 months crash course on Front-End Web development and on successful completion of which provided an opportunity to get a scholarship on the Nanodergree program. I did well for the first 2 and half months and couldn’t do it well for the remaining half the month due to my exam which again surrendered my mind with the same old thoughts of the not getting selection in this course. But after the completion of the crash course and losing hope of getting selected among 10000 competitors and be one among those 1000 was something out of my imagination. But the course gave me something to learn new land a push towards my web development career.
Once again changing my expectations I got a mail from the Udacity team congratulating me on my selection for Nanodergree program. I was struck with a bolt of happiness and was jumping around like I was the first to climb the Mount Everest and it was first time in my life I was experiencing a joy of that kind since I didn’t expect to be among 1000 out of 10000 competitors looking forward to the scholarship program.
That day I realized that nothing is meant for a special group or special class of people it’s all meant for those who are ready to work hard and grab the opportunity placed in front of them.
This Nanodegree program changed my career as earlier I had an offer from a service-based company and after doing this course I got an invitation to attend an interview in a product based startup and I am currently working here as a Front-End web developer.
The Nanodegree teaches you what you need to know in a condensed way from industry experts. Nanodegrees have really good content and projects. You will surely learn a lot. It teaches example- and project-based. Also, you have to build a handful of projects. Keep in mind, even though a Nanodegree is a solid foundation, it is up to you to make something out of it. There is far more to learn.
I am happy that I have enrolled at Udacity in Jan 2019. I have completed three Nano Degree ("Natual Language Processing", "Deep Learning" and "AI product Manager") in a year and learnt so many things. The best part of the nano degrees is real-world industry projects and the best instructors. I will be looking forward to learning more in 2020. Also, expecting more jobs assistant from Udacity.
Udacity Curriculum and Teaching does not spoon-feed the student. Rather, it provokes due thought process in you to seek and apply the knowledge with aptly challenging time-bound assignments.
Pride to say that I am a "Self Driving Car Engineer" Nano Degree Holder.
Currently pursuing Bertelsmann Data Science Nanodegree and Intel Vino AI Nano Degrees with due scholarships. Thanks, Udacity & Sponsors.
I really enjoyed the course. The course content was very good. The teachers have great dynamics and the challenges are great. Slax is very useful for the student's daily life and mentors are always quick to ask questions.

Hello!
I am a 25 years old Civil Engineering Graduate, I worked for a little more than a year and I did not like my job at the time, and I was applying for a Scholarship launched with a partnership with Udacity and it was the first time I ever heard of the Data Analyst, Data Science or the Data Domain in general, so I looked up the field and I was hooked immediately, I was a bit into programming when I was doing my bachelors in Civil Engineering so I did not find a lot of a hard time learning Python, which is a part of the Data Analyst Nanodegree, although Python was absolutely new to me and I learned it all as a part of the Nanodegree since you don't really need any perquisites!
The program overall was great, the content is amazingly dense and concise, the instructors are really friendly so you do not get bored from hours of lectures and exercises. In addition, needing to complete 4 full projects from A to Z really gives you confidence in your skills and makes you prepare something you can show to your employer!
As for my future plans, I still need to improve my Machine Learning and Deep Learning skills in order to take a full grasp of the Data Science field curriculum wise, so I am currently a part of the Bertelsmann Tech Scholarship Phase 1 in the AI (Deep Learning) Track, as for the Machine Learning part of the endeavor, Udacity has a free course on Spark to actually apply Machine Learning of Big Data!
I really do recommend Udacity if you are planning a career shift or developing your skills in general.
By the way, I have an interview with an employer this Monday for a BI/Data Science Position, which me luck! and good luck to you all in your future endeavors!

I got a fully-funded scholarship at Udacity for the Front End Web Developer Nanodegree program through Google India Scholarships. This program begins with the basics of Web Development to very advanced modern-day applications. Every part of the course is accompanied by projects or at least quizzes, that way we can revise what we had learned and also the videos are not too long which makes it more interesting and less distracting. Each section of the program requires that we submit a project of our own and it is reviewed by moderators. The projects in the nanodegree program are not only engaging but also focusing on even minor things. This way one can be industry-ready. I joined for an internship post this program where my managers where awed by my skills. I'm a freelance front end developer now and I'm grateful that I took up this program at Udacity.
