SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

I started doing SheCodes last month. I currently have a full time job and I have attempted to learn front end developing before but found the HTML course a little over my head. When I started on SheCodes I found that I really like Matt's teaching style, as well as the pacing for the courses. I have already learned a ton and feel like I understand the course material. Just finished my course and I learned a lot about HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript. It’s a great start to enter Coding. As a student, I found other courses quite expensive, but this certificate was affordable, especially if you consider the detailed instructions and explanations in the course. You get several homeworks to test your skills & to make sure you actually learned something. joining a great community with like-minded women is a huge bonus! I was really interested in coding and progressing my career. The course has taken the nerves away from entering a new industry.
