Prepare to get hands-on experience
The content is well structured and blends the theoretical underpinnings with practical hands-on projects. Pursuing this with other multiple full-time engagements might be challenging at times due to the rigor, but the program managers are quite accommodating and ready to help when needed. Actually Learning - real courses and content.
When I signed up I was afraid this was going to be another certificate site where you just watch videos but not actually learn anything. The content is actually well paced and the weekly sessions with an actual instructor who is in the industry are very well done and eye opening. They really bridge the gap from tutorial hell. Another thing worth mentioning is that the time investment is truly at least 5-10 hours a week. Some projects actually take at least 8 hours in addition to the test...When I signed up I was afraid this was going to be another certificate site where you just watch videos but not actually learn anything. When i registered to this program, i had many doubts about it such as the value of the program the material, the support to finish. But i was surprised with the everything. An Impactful And Insightful Program
This course has exceeded my expectations for an intensive data science and machine learning course in depth and breadth. It comprises 7 modules exploring Python and statistics, unstructured data and clustering, regression and prediction, classification and hypothesis testing, deep learning, recommendation and networking and graphical models. Each module is complemented with two-to-three-hour lecture videos from MIT professors, two-hour mentored learning sessions taught by experienced ind...This course has exceeded my expectations for an intensive data science and machine learning course in depth and breadth. It comprises 7 modules exploring Python and statistics, unstructured data and clustering, regression and prediction, classification and hypothesis testing, deep learning, recommendation and networking and graphical models. Each module is complemented with two-to-three-hour lecture videos from MIT professors, two-hour mentored learning sessions taught by experienced industry practitioners, multiple case studies with full-code Jupyter notebooks provided and lecture notes. I was assessed with test questions about the concepts in each module. In addition, I had to complete three projects that required me to combine the skills I learned and my business knowledge to provide commercial solutions in fictional case studies. The teaching methods, course materials and assessments are crucial to my understanding and applications of the course content. Also, the Great Learning team provided me with a lot of support during the course period, which facilitated the course delivery and aimed at producing great learning outcomes for every student. Amazing journey into Data Science world with MIT and Great Learning
When I applied to this program, I had zero experience and knowledge in both Python and Data Science. I was skeptical if I could do this, but I really-really wanted to get familiar with this area. Starting from scratch, I am thrilled to share that just three months later, I have gained the ability to proficiently handle all the technical aspects within the notebook, do all the analysis, write reports, and present the results with all the recommendations. I was skeptical if I could do this, but I really-really wanted to get familiar with this area. Starting from scratch, I am thrilled to share that just three months later, I have gained the ability to proficiently handle all the technical aspects within the notebook, do all the analysis, write reports, and present the results with all the recommendations. I started with the pre-work materials one month before the program started. It was so thoughtful of the program team to let us get familiar with the subject before the course started. It was very helpful for me, as I did not have any experience in programming. The amount and quality of provided studying materials was well balanced and sufficient (video lectures, recordings, articles, summaries of the lectures, practical examples etc). To get comfortable with new knowledge, I had to review some of the materials repeatedly. I was consistently captivated by the lectures delivered by MIT professors; they were truly awe-inspiring. Missing even a single lecture felt out of the question. Amazing support from mentors to see how all the theory is applied into practice and it was absolute magic for me. A lot of practical examples. It's a realm where one can truly grasp the inner workings of the world—an immensely inspiring experience. I should also mention the program manager support in all the organizational issues, all the questions, all the support during the course, check-in calls on how I was doing. That made me feel so connected like during offline study. In summary, this journey has been nothing short of amazing—a personal milestone that I hold dear. Throughout this experience, I was consistently struck by the sheer awesomeness of it all. The incredible people, the fascinating subject matter, the sheer coolness—it all resonated deeply with me. I found myself yearning not just to be part of this world, but to contribute meaningfully to its richness and innovation.

A Comprehensive Data Analytics Program for Professionals
My domain is Operational Technology for Critical Infrastructure focusing on Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity. I was a bit skeptical when I signed up for a Data Analytics Program with coding. However, Great Learning & MIT proved me wrong. The entire 12 weeks was a beautiful learning experience with excellent content and perfect delivery. The program surprised me with ample opportunities to interact, network, and be tested. The pace at which the entire course was orchestrated...My domain is Operational Technology for Critical Infrastructure focusing on Digital Transformation & Cybersecurity. I was a bit skeptical when I signed up for a Data Analytics Program with coding. However, Great Learning & MIT proved me wrong. The entire 12 weeks was a beautiful learning experience with excellent content and perfect delivery. The program surprised me with ample opportunities to interact, network, and be tested. The pace at which the entire course was orchestrated was the highlight, especially for a senior consultant like me. The best part was the handholding we received throughout the program and specifically during the capstone project. The final presentation was the icing on the cake, really enjoyed it.
Also, special thanks and gratitude to my program coordinators - their support, help, and assistance were prompt and exemplary.
Overall a great learning experience and an excellent program for any professional or student who aspires to use Data Analytics skills to their existing domain knowledge and advance in their respective domains.
