Caltech offers online bootcamps covering topics like DevOps (36 weeks), Data Science & Business Analytics (24 weeks), AI & Machine Learning (24 weeks), Cloud Computing (24 weeks), Software Development (24 weeks), and Blockchain (24 weeks). These bootcamps are for individuals who are interested in learning more specialized topics or are interested in upskilling to a new career. Students will complete projects throughout the course to give them real-world experience in their chosen course of study. These Caltech programs are a mixture of self-paced videos, live remote classes, hands-on projects, and labs. Students will have access to mentorship sessions.
The DevOps bootcamp covers topics like methodology, continuous delivery, configuration management, containerization, and DevOps on cloud. The Data Science & Business Analytics bootcamp covers topics like data analytics, data visualization, model building, descriptive statistics, and deep learning. The AI & Machine Learning bootcamp covers topics like deep learning, neural networks, GANs, and natural language processing.The Cloud Computing bootcamp covers topics like autoscaling, migration, workloads, disaster recovery, and database management. The Software Development bootcamp covers topics like HTML, CSS, Java, JSP, Angular, MongoDB, and Agile. The Blockchain bootcamp covers topics like smart contracts, consensus, cryptography, cryptocurrency, distributed ledgers, and Etherium.
These bootcamps are open to students with bachelor’s degrees. All bootcamps (except for DevOps and Cloud Computing) require prior knowledge of programming. The AI and Data Science bootcamps require experience in mathematics. Work experience is preferred, but not required. Students that meet the criteria are not required to interview in order to be accepted into the bootcamp.
Career support is not included in the curriculum.
