SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

“Thanks to Matt and his team for this great opportunity. I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... Can't recommend enough!
I recently completed the SheCodes Basics course and I can't recommend it enough to other women who are interested in coding. The format of learning is engaging and the pace is just right. The homework assignments are thoughtfully designed to reinforce what we learned in class and encourage us to explore and figure things out on our own. The SheCodes team is also incredibly supportive and responsive on Slack, which really helps when you're stuck on a problem. Organized and Well-explained.
Classes were very well explained and I loved how smooth the week went by with learning everything. Definitely recommend if you are thinking about a potential career in coding! Well thought out study program
The perfect workshop to start learning from scratch. The structure of the program and the teaching methods are well thought out. Fun and easy to follow
The course is straightforward to follow (great for a proper beginner) and Matt breaks things down perfectly for a beginner to understand. The way the workshops are formatted made it easy to fit around my day job . Overall it was really interesting to learn more about coding and I enjoyed every minute! 👍

Very eye-opening, highly educational & loads of fun!!!
SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! I would totally recommend SheCodes to all women who work with developers and who wants to learn how to create web pages. I am 100% keen on learning more & participating on the monthly challenges!
