Coderschool offers good in return value course and network that's not all other places can do. I studied the Machine Learning bootcamp course for 3 months, which contains a lot of intensive exercises. All exercises are in hand-on coding format that revolves around real world problems. Even though most of the dataset we used are from Kaggle, the skills on data driven thinking and data analysis are the most valuable. Beside, the tuition fee also includes many supports from the Outcome team. The outcome team helps you getting jobs in the data industry of both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. They has a broad HR network, therefore, you will have a higher chance to get your CV to top companies than self-apply. Finally, the projects and knowledge in the Machine Learning course is strong in foundation.

I took the online part-time Machine Learning bootcamp at CoderSchool during 2021.  The bootcamp was a wonderful experience for me. It’s incredible how much you can learn in 24 weeks.

This is a very well prepared and well run class.  Instructors are caring and staffs are friendly. TAs are very helpful and kind.  The lectures were engaging and everyone knew how to keep the class interesting. The course is built upon the project-based style, the weekly hackathon mostly helped build understanding of some of the concepts needed and I really like this aspect of the course.

Homework notebooks are very well designed, and really makes this class. Plenty of resources provided (Python tutoring, TA office hours). Class goes through almost all important areas of using Python for data analysis, traditional Machine Learning techniques, writing SQL scripts, Deep Learning..etc...The final project is an excellent opportunity to get your hand dirty and you have an opportunity to build a real application.

On top of that I found CoderSchool had wonderful and inclusive community that made this journey even better.  I was lucky to receive an offer for data scientist position during my bootcamp but still job assistance service went beyond expectation, coaches really made an effort to catch up with students along the way to help improve the experience with the class. 

Totally recommended for anyone looking to extend their knowledge in data science or change careers and meet the most amazing and bright group of people along the way. Definitely bang for the buck !!!

There are so many treasons to choose CoderSchool to learn Machine Learning. First of all, their syllabus cover various topics from traditional ML to deep learning. This helps me more confident when I start discussing with anyone about any themes. Secondly, the training period is just 3 months. This helps me join the labor market as soon as possible. Thirdly, instructors and TAs are excellent and commitment. Their backgrounds are really solid, which come from Germany and USA. They have deep knowledge in programming which helps a newbie like me a lot.

Mình là dân kinh tế, không biết lập trình, biết mỗi excel. Ở đây mở bán khoá học 5tr dạy data analytics trong 6 tuần, nội dung gồm sql, python, và gg data studio

1. đầu tiên là đầu vào: mình đã hỏi trước là mình chưa học lập trình thì có theo được không, trường cho vào luôn, không thành vấn đề

2. thứ 2 là giáo trình và khâu chuẩn bị: ban đầu mình tưởng mình dở vì theo không kịp nhưng hỏi ra thì vài bạn khác cũng thế. Trong khi đầu vào hứa hẹn không cần biết lập trình, nhưng nói thật giáo trình này rất nặng kỹ thuật và không thực tế cho người không biết lập trình để tiếp thu trong 6 tuần. Mấy bữa đầu mình chạy code không được hoặc bị lỗi mình thấy rất nản. Thầy thao tác máy thầy thì được nhưng mình thao tác máy mình thì không được. Mình cũng không biết phải hỏi gì luôn. Bài đã khó mình cũng không được đọc trước do trường đăng tài liệu chậm, học xong cũng không được xem lại ngay vì thời gian học sát nhau, bài buổi trước mình chưa kịp hiểu và thấm gì thì buổi sau lại phải học dồn kiến thức mới. Trong quá trình học thì cũng dùng rất nhiều tool, chưa kịp hiểu rõ tool này dùng như thế nào đã dùng đến tool khác, mình cũng chả nhớ nỗi tên tool. Mình đã không còn theo nổi kể từ phần panda trở đi. Mình thấy việc trường để thả lõng đầu vào như vậy nhưng giáo trình thì bắn như tên lửa mình có cảm giác trường quan tâm doanh thu đầu vào hơn hiệu quả đầu ra.

3. thứ 3 là lớp học: lớp học gồm 100 bạn học online trên zoom, đến tuần thứ 3 drop còn đâu tầm 50. 1 TA phụ trách một nhóm tầm 9-10 bạn. Các bạn TA cũng hỏi nhóm có câu hỏi nào không, nhưng vấn đề là không hiểu gì để mà hỏi nên không biết hỏi gì

4. thứ 4 là giáo viên: giáo viên là alumni của trường, ngoại trừ kinh nghiệm ở coderschool thì linkedin thầy cũng không làm gì liên quan đến dữ liệu

5. thứ 5 là kiến thức: mấy bữa đầu mình chơi kahoot trong đó có 1 câu thầy dạy là “1 SQL table có thể có nhiều hơn 1 primary key”, mình làm sai câu này nên mình đã xem lại và mình nghĩ là thầy dạy sai

Đây là trải nghiệm của mình, thấy khá phí tiền vì học sắp xong mà không có gì nhiều đọng lại trong đầu. Nên là bạn nào mà complete beginner như mình thì tìm phương án nào rẻ hơn mà học, mua mấy khoá udemy 200k hoặc coursera miễn phí có khi học được nhiều hơn. Đừng vào đây học tốn tiền, tốn thời gian mà lại không được gì nhiều.

I came to CoderSchool without any technical background, but 3 months later, I graduated with a certification in machine learning. Undoubtedly, this course is not as simple as "taking a boot camp to switch career"; you will be challenged and feel frustrated because of how diversified this field is. It will be a commitment. But rest assured, you will meet great friends and friendly instructors who will help and further push you throughout the 3 months. If you commit yourself, I think the end result will be rewarding. At least for me, I came out of the course deciding to choose Computer Science as my college major (and also a few job opportunities)! 

I joined their Machine Learning Engineer boot camp in May 2020 because I have no idea what to major in college. However, the 3-month experience had influenced me so much in wanting to major in Computer Science and Data Science in uni. We learn many aspects of Machine Learning in depth from data engineering to building algorithms for different ML models (including classical and deep learning).  Even though we struggled in the first place with tons of complex mathematical equations, the instructors (Minh Do, Minh Anh Nguyen, and Tom Huynh) and TA (Nhan Phan) were very supportive and provide us with instant support. It was such a fun and enjoyable experience and all the friendships I made in class and within CoderSchool community will be cherished for a long time. 

Not only did I get to meet awesome people who were my classmates but my instructors Loi, Khoa and Bitna are also one of the funniest, most active & supportive people I know, they were very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information. They do their good job by making the course dynamic, pacing everything and addressing student questions so most of us, who were not of IT background, will be able to understand the materials thoroughly. All of the other CoderSchool staff work hard to ensure we have the best learning environment. I am impressed.

I got to know CoderSchool through online search and actually thanks to CourseReport that I get to see reviews about CoderSchool and decided to contact CoderSchool. I joined their Machine Learning Engineer bootcamp in November 2019. Three months of learning were superbly rewarding. Not only did we learn about machine learning in depth but also other essential skills like data engineering, visualization, algorithms and data structures, scripting languages, cloud deployment, etc. The instructors (Hai-Minh Do, Minh-Anh Nguyen, Tom Huynh, H.Nguyen, Mikal Castillo) were very supportive and provide each of us personal support. We also learn how to present ourselves professionally as future computer engineer/data engineer as we build our professional portfolios and interview practice. The instructors also share with us students their professional experience for us to familiarize with this career path. The course is suitable for beginners to intermediate learners. Even though I had some intermediary experience in coding before this course, through this intense course, I improve my skills significantly and even acquire deeper understanding of machine learning specifically and computer science in general. There are also events for students to meet professionals, networking, make connections. The instructor of the course Hai-Minh Do is a certified Google partner and organizes Google/Tensorflow events in HCMC. Moreover, the course is priced very reasonably and the rewards reaped from this course will far exceed what you have to pay for. The connections that I make at CoderSchool were very precious and supportive, it was truly a community to be part of.

I got to know CoderSchool via a Facebook ad. I had my doubt about the school for I thought it would be like any course that I could easily find on Coursera or Udemy.  thought. I enrolled in this course anyway since I had wanted to enter the IT industry. I was very pleased with the way the class is organized as well as the teaching staff who are every friendly and always ready to provide me with every piece of advice that I need. The CoderSchool community is also full of supportive people that share the same interest as mine, where I can easily refer to for questions. Job guarantee is also another aspect that got me hooked with the school. Thanks to CoderSchool, I can kick-start my IT career and set foot into this wonderful field. 5 stars for CoderSchool!
