    High Price for Bad Outcomes

Code Fellows charges high-end boot camp prices without the results, curriculum, or staffing to match. Even the people who were getting paid to attend (CF accepts multiple forms of veteran education benefits) regretted attending the CF software engineering program. I would recommend staying away from Code Fellows entirely.

Most instructors didn't seem to have training in how to lead a class through the material, which made it feel like the instructors were always ill-prepared &amp...

Modular learning and scholarship made this is a great experience

I really enjoyed the modular pace of Code Fellows and I enjoyed the repetition that was built in so that I could allow coding and whiteboards to be more a part of my muscle memory.
I ended up taking 101 and really enjoying the curriculum. Then I moved on to 201 and 301 back to back and after a 6 month break where I studied and dealt with life I came back for 401. I was on the night track so this made the program a little longer, but also gave me a chance to have income during the cam...

    Experience, Value, Job Readiness

As a student of Code Fellows with a lot of experience in programming and not a lot of money I was very focused on getting my monies worth. I came in with a LOT of experience brought in through undirected self-taught programming and I found Value here. However, I also came in young, with only a couple of job interviews under my belt and zero clue about what it would be like to get into the professional world of anything but fast food. That one was easy. Going in with an u...

    Challenging yet rewarding

In this school you are going to learn something new every week but you are not going to use everything you learn throughout the whole course some lessons are more of intros to things so you know they are out there so sometimes you will have to do a lot of research on your own depending on what you are interested in

    Great School!

This 6 month bootcamp took me from not knowing how to write a single line of code in HTML or CSS, to creating a full-stack mobile  trivia application that talks to ChatGPT through the OpenAI API!! So, I would say I've come a long way. You also meet great people along the way that will help you get a job! Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into the business!

Doesn’t not prepare you for a job.

Our course material has typos, unclear directions, and still needs so much work before it’s ready for students. The curriculum does NOT prepare you for a job. They gloss over one new thing a day and you’re expected to put that in your resume as a skill. The class lecture is supposed to be 3 hours long, sometimes it is 1 hour. You would expect much more from a $25,000 course. Your “career” assignments consist of watching 45 minute YouTube videos that are 3 years old, and they call it “par...

Overall - horrible experience due to [name redacted] - lack of follow up or communication

I recently completed the Code Fellow Bootcamp course, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. One of the biggest issues I encountered was the complete lack of communication from the staff. There were times when I had important questions or concerns that went unanswered for days, if not weeks.

In addition to the lack of communication, there was a severe lack of ownership taken by the instructors and staff. When I encountered issues, instead ...

    Top Coding Bootcamp!

I had an amazing experience completing Code Fellows Software Development BootCamp! Excellent curriculum, really enjoyed the instructors/TA's, and the coursework was very helpful for getting a better understanding of the fundamentals. Like all boot camps, the pacing is fast and the course load is heavy. I would highly recommend Code Fellows to anyone who asked.

    Hard, Intensive, Great.

The course was hard but expected since I did not have much experience with the stuff we learned in this course. Instructors were great and went above and beyond to help the students. Dr. Robin proved herself very helpful and there whenever you needed her. This is a school I would recommend to anyone trying to get started in their tech skills. They take good care of their students and they really take feedback seriously.

    Mind and life changing.

Code Fellows gave me a place that facilitated material and provided accountability. The instructors and the teaching assistants shared their wealth of knowledge and gave room to grow and learn. Java 401 was challenging to learn a new language but extremely rewarding. I believe java laid a great foundation for software development.

Found codefellows through the vettec program. After trying a previous course I was hesitant, but glad I made the decision to enroll. The ops course builds your IT knowledge with a good foundation and adds on top of that each day. Would recommend to anyone looking to start a career in IT.
